Default Question regarding tag on 4x6 utility trailer?

I purchased a 4 x6 utility trailer yesterday . When I called the Collectors Office they told me to go to a weigh station and have the trailer weighed. Which I did and it only weighs 650 lbs. Then the Collectors Office told me to visit and get a temporary tag or license plate. They were closed when I arrived yesterday.

Now what are my options. I have the weigh station slip and I was told that that would be okay until I get a tag,but that doesn't sound right.

What if I get pulled over? I know that it is not a titled vehicle but that i must be registered. I can't registered when the office is closed and I need to use the trailer today.

Does anyone know if what I was told about the weight station slip is true?

The bill of Sale will suffice until you get it registered and tagged. In Florida, the trailer weight determines the dollar amount of the registration. More weight means more wear and tear on the roads so the tag will cost more. Don't sweat it, You should be fine in the meantime.
