I currently have Brighthouse. The only bad thing about Verizon, so I have heard, is that they charge you more than what is advertised. Also, they require you to sign a contract. I have HD channels with Brighthouse. The only upside to Verizon, so I heard, is they offer more HD channels.

I heard Verizon and Brighthouse were both horrible, Didn't Brighthouse drop nickelodeon ?

I have Comcast but they suck too, I think pretty much all cable companies are crooks. I would switch to satellite but can't get past their credit checks, lol

My dad was one of many who signed up for Verizon when they were promising the world. He was supposed to get either a check or a free tv and received nothing. Now he is locked into a contract, has horrible customer service and is counting down the days until he can go back to Brighthouse. The only positive with Verizon is that the picture is superior. That is our experience with them.

I won't go with Verizon myself simply because they have spent years screwing up my phone account so I will be damned if I am going to trust them with two more accounts like internet and cable. Plus, I just love the service at Brighthouse. They treat you like you are number one and there is a reason they are voted number one in customer service each year!

I love Brighthouse. Great customer service, no contracts and pretty good prices.

No they did not drop any channels.

Comcast is HORRIBLE! I loved direct tv until....they mistakenly charged our checking account for like 1300 bones. They claimed this was an accounting error on their behalf but....this was two months ago and I still havent seen my money yet. So...we are getting rid of it (thank god my contract is up) and I won't ever deal with them again. I am sure that it is going to take many more phone calls on my behalf to resolve this situation!

Thank you all for the input. I had brighthouse when I lived in Orlando and honestly I thought they were top notch with customer service. They don't have all the channels I would like to have but I am not sure if I wanna get into a contract with verizon. Our cell phones are through them and I am pleased with that but at least with brighthouse if I don't like the service I can cancel it at anytime.
