Visiting Tampa area to interview at several hospitals and ( depending on hospital I end up choosing ) homes nearby. I need to look at Wesley Chapel, New Tampa, LOL, and more south in Brandon and Valrico, maybe Riverview.
I will travel alone and was thinking of booking a nicer hotel near the airport. This would be, I think, central to getting to all these areas and will make my flight dates easy. Watching the obvious rush hour times, is it relatively easy to get in and out of the city to these suburbs, especially if I bring a GPS, or is there some place else you'd recommend?
thanks!

All those areas are East of downtown Tampa, and it may be best to stay in those areas, as opposed to the airport area which is West of downtown Tampa.

A central location between the areas you mention above to look for housing may be the hotel cluster around Fletcher Avenue and Interstate 75(Courtyard, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn).
