Default Lakes in Hillsborough County

Thought I would start a new thread since I was getting off track from the title of the last one.http://www.city-data.com/forum/tampa...nd-hudson.html

Thanks to TampaKaron I was able to find the size lakes I am looking for from the Hillsborough Water Atlas and also the names of them. I am looking at lakes that range from 75 acres to 431 acres. Here is a list of the lakes that fit.

1 Calm Lake 33556
2 Lake Carroll 33618
3 Grady Lake
4 Hiawatha Lake 33556
5 Keystone Lake 33556
6 Magdalene Lake
7 Pretty Lake 33556
8 Mound Lake 33556
9 Lake Rogers No houses on this one 33556
10 Lake Stemper in Lutz 33549
11 Lake Valrico 33594
12 Lake Wimauma 33598

Can anyone tell me if there is skiing on any of these lakes. Most look like they have houses with boat docks. I would like to find the ones that are not heavily trafficked. I currently live on a lake that is 550 acres, in a gated community, and to get any smooth water to practice I have to get out there at 6:30 am during the week only. The rest of the time it is way to busy. Plus in Ohio there isn't to many mornings above 55 degrees.
Thanks Dave

Lake Thonotosassa in Eastern Hillsborough (East of 75, north of I-4) will also fit your category.
There is a public boat ramp on the southern end of the lake and the lake is hardly ever crowded.
Great place to skii.

I disregarded that one because of the size of it. I assumed that it was public it would be a nightmare to ski on.
I was wondering if the lakes down there are not as busy since you don't have to pack all your water recreations into the summer months. Seems up here when the kids are off school the lakes are very busy.
Thanks Dave
