We are still considering a move to either Palm Harbor, Clearwater or St Pete. We are interested in finding out what sorts of technology jobs are available.
Where in Tampa Bay area would you guys say are most jobs such as:
Business Telephone Installation/Repair/Service
Computer Software Support
T1, DSL or FIOS Installers/Repair, etc
Cable TV or Satellite Installers, etc
Big Phone Companies needing technicians
Web Developers

None of those areas are really "tech nerve centers". I mean , let's be honest. This is Florida.

Contrary to some naysayers there are jobs out there. Not that jobs are abundant but there are jobs around starting in the 60-70K range. I have a friend who was just hired as a project mgr for a software company in Tampa.
