Default I need to get out of this place

1st off i would like to say hi to all. I have been hiding in the threads reading comments about TN. Me, the Wife and kid (soon to be kids) are looking to move to murfreesboro. we live in Tampa,fl and need to leave due to the "FACT" that things are getting way to violent in our schools and on our streets. my son will be going to high school next year and with all the crime and gangs it is a scary thought. i would love to move to Cody,wy again but a lack of job's is something we cant have in the town we move to. unlike politicians we aint rich lol..... "Any way if anyone knows of some real good links/websites for murfreesbor please let me know. so far from what I have found, murfreesboro seems like a very nice place to live and to have our son go to school with out the problems we have know at our schools in florida. be sides it it HAS to safer then TAMPA and I wont have to hear about the darn buccaneers. ONCE AGAIN HI AND I TRULY LOOK FORWORD TO TN

I am in the Boro, my brother is a realtor here and his wife is a teacher....I love it here(Moved here myself in JAN fro LA!) THIS IS A GREAT place to move your kid(s) to...I hear feedback all the time from folks who are shocked(in a good way) at the public schools alone....they transfer here thinking "look for good private" school until they see how nice the public ones are....of course each to their own per say(check out the area you live) also Williamson County is rated as one of the TOP school system(public and or Pvt) in the state as well as Tops in Nation in various ratings and the BORO IS NOT FAR BEHIND......One thing about the 'Boro, you might feel a bit "alone" when you first move here,LOL, but you won;t be "lonely"..ie, one makes friends here FAST!!!! :-)

Here is a link about Rutherford County schools:
http://www.rcs.k12.tn.us/rc/schools/...s_frameset.htm
There are two newer high schools there that I have heard are good schools.

Here is the link to the local paper:
www.dnj.com

You can look up jobs and find info on the area. Also, especially for jobs you may want to check out:

www.tennesseean.com

That is the Nashville paper.

And here is the government website for M'boro:
