I'm an LPN in East TN, as a newer LPN 1-2 years in East TN you'd be looking at $11-$12 in an hospital if you can find a position, $10-$14 in a Dr. Office, $16-$18 in LTC.

Me, I work at the VA in JC for $15 hour full-time with benefits, I was making $21 nights, PRN in a hospital, and now $15 hour prn in an urgent care.

I can't imagine Chattanooga being much different.

Good luck with the move.

Tony
Chatt generally pays more in salary for any position, than the Tri-Cities, and Knoxville pays more than that, and Nashville even more. Of course the COL increases in each place, too.

Hi, I'm an RN in West TN and I've lived in TN for 2 years. I moved from SC and the pay is a little less here. I'm making about $22.00/hr working Home Health and Hospice for a hospital system. You must remember the cost of living is lower here. However, I'm the only income in my family and it is pay check to pay check for a family of 4.

Well, I could definitely see West TN being the lowest for pay, especially in the rural areas.
