Well, I figured a new thread to discuss and keep track of all the projects going up across the state was in order. Feel free to mention the high-rises going up in your city, as i have a hard time keeping track of everything thats going on in my city, and love reading about and discussing new projects from all over. Photos of construction, site plans, ect. are encouraged.

No problem. Me too! Hopefully some Dallas and Austin folks chime in with local projects that are going up. I know uptown Dallas is always busy and there are a few things going up in Austin.

I also enjoy development threads and was bummed to see the skyline thread closed. I like the idea of San Antonio and Austin joining in on a new one.

This type of thread always starts out 'well-intended' and informative but usually goes down hill after a few pages due to instigators (long time forum members know who i'm talking about).

I give this thread about 2 days before deteriorating and 3 weeks before mod closure... Hope i'm wrong though.

I hope you are wrong too. Development is one of my favorite topics.. I tried to format it to where it's hard to spin this into a vs/competition thread, but I agree it is probably inevitable. Maybe we can be more civilized this time around and realize this thread is a celebration of Texas' progress.

I hope Austin and San Antonio chime in too. Does San Antonio have any highrise proposals? I know aft Worth has at least one.
