Alright so here's the story... I gave hime $100 after looking at it and agreed to come back and get it within 3 days and pay $500 upon taking it. Then within 10 days to pay another $200.

So basicaly I got bill of sale papers on the first 2 transactions and I mailed him the last $200 but now he is "Claiming" He didn't get it.

So here are the ways I think I can tell him off

1. I signed his paper stating the transaction... BUT there was no notarization

2. I signed the papers BUT I am a minor (17) so I cant legally own/buy a car since I think in texas a minor needs parental consent to buy car and be in legall binding contract which should make the whole deal null & also make him get into trouble rite?

3. He didn't have the title and it isn't in his name which should make it illegal to even sell rite?

Just trying to release if he can legally come take it or take me to court for this and win... Because im not gonna give him another $200 because he is a low life.

He can take you to court but he would be stupid and loose 100%.

Never sell anything to minors and that's anything.

Yea but can he report the car stolen... or will they ask him for proof of ownership in order to report it stolen?

It depends if the car was ever registered to him to begin with. Obviously, he isn't going to claim the car stolen if he is not the bearer of the title.

As far as the OP goes, you were dumb for buying a car without a title to begin with, unless you were planning to part it out. Getting a bonded title is an ordeal to say the least, if not impossible. You might as well take it a part and sell it as scrap, unless you plan on using parts from it to fix up another vehicle.

What do you mean? Please elaborate that statement for me as it sounds like it's directed towards me being a fool. And why would I be loosing my money soon if the guy didn't "legally" own the car, and he made a contract with a minor without my parents permission.

LOL I don't think I need to do any more justifying. Your statements pretty much tell the whole story.

I just don't understand what you mean? Your not making sense... Are you saying he's gonna legally be able to take it back?

He means you should have gotten a (signed) receipt or paid by check or cashier's check or whatever.
