I thought you wanted the thread closed.

Hey Reggie, I bet you can find 3 news stories of men beating their wives & another 3 of women beating their husbands (in texas) ....then you can post about Texas having a long & scary history of spousal beat downs.

Oh...& you can post the same thing on the kinder, gentler Iowa board. (when you start trolling there)

OP: Well if you feel that El Paso, which had 17 homicides in 2015, is too dangerous because of the police feel free to cross the border over to Cuidad Juarez where the police are powerless and there were 300 murders last year.

Anyway, I didn't ask this to provoke a fight or troll. I feel like I'd be oppressed there compared to where I'm at now.
Oppressed people don't most times realize their oppressed and just submit to be shaken down.
Anyway I'll leave you to that and unsubscribe from the sheeple replies.

Texas has had several of the fastest growing cities in the nation for the last decade. In 2014-2015 Houston added more people than New York City added. Houston almost added twice as many people as New York City and LA added, combined. If Texas is oppressed, they sure are fooling a lot of people.

Boy, really stuck in your ideas, aren't you? If people with actual experience disagree with you and don't give you the answers that fit your preconceptions, they must be sheeple. Not real sure that's how it works.

If you think Texas is a police state try living in new jersey. Though I consider Louisiana a police state with their over the top police. Not that small towns in Texas aren't overly aggressive but Louisiana takes top prize for aggressive police.

Where is this awesome and free place you live?

Sweet!

Although I have had an awesome existence in Texas. My dealing with law enforcement has always been above board. My worst experience was an obvious speed trap in the town of Zavalla in East Texas but I WAS speeding. My fine was reasonable. State law requires that any civil entity (town, city, village, county, etc) will turn over 70% of levied fine monies to State coffers for road and school improvements.

You must live in Heaven.

or maybe you are naive and/or the victim of propaganda!
