We are non denominational, born again, and do OK with most except the ones that usually start with "Church of" or "United" and are not Catholic.

There are many bike trail systems in the area and many lakes. Seems pretty outdoorsy.

Lubbock is too far out. Looking to be in or closer to DFW area.

Main hobbies are biking (mountain and road), fishing, camping.

Been looking north of DFW in places like Flower Mound, Carrollton, Grapevine. Seems to be several likes, mountain bike trails in the area and nice neighborhoods.

It all looks pretty good on Google earth but am trying to get ducks in a row when we actually go out and visit.

Well then you may want to reconsider Abilene and Lubbock especially Abilene.I dont know if Abilene and Lubbock would work for yall in that case.

Why is that? There are churches of this kind in every city there. Many of them.

I thought affilation with private schools was what you meant.Abilene is like the Vatican of the church of Christ. Its dominated by that church.I am church of Christ so it would not be an issue for me but it could be an issue for some.

Sorry..I really am sorry because I guess i was confused because churches of Christ always start with "Church of" and i honestly thought you said you do okay with most except ones that start with "Church of" and "United".However if I got confused I am sorry lol.maybe Abilene could work because they have an Episcopal school there and another Christian school besides Abilene Christian School.Sorry for any confusion,OP.I think Cornerstone Christian school could be best choice in Abilene for yall because its non-denominational since its not affiliated with any church but its supported by many.
