Nicely done ladies! That was a heck of a game. For a bit it looked like Baylor was going to win by 30. Then it looked like they were going to lose. Then they won.

We "cut the cable" so no ESPN TV for us. Instead, we listened on the old AM radio.
A true nail-biter to the very end.

Again, thank you Governor Ann Richards for being the deciding factor for Baylor to become the only private school in the Big 12. Her importance to Baylor admission to the Big 12 was finally confirmed to me this year from a high ranking 79 former Administrator of Baylor. Of course surely others, T.C.U fans U of H fans have been hearing this for years.

If this needs explaining. Baylor got great coaches after becoming a Power 5 School. The former owner of the Houston Astros, reportedly paid for a new Baylor Stadium, on and on. Until Baylor entered the Big 12 they were a primarily and who cares school. Most students, with some exceptions when asked what school they attended, they said rather under their breath and quietly baylor. But now, tee shirts, B.U stickers on their cars, etc. Again, NOW do you see, thank you Ann Richards.

Oh, by they way she was elected governor of ALL or FOR "ALL" of Texas, not suppose to be such an powerful VOICE for baylor.

A relative told me that she is convinced that Baylor can't win a championship without some sort of crime or sexual harassment involved. She's waiting for the other shoe to drop on this one.

I'm not really a Big XII fan, but I'm OK with bringing a title to the state of Texas.

FWIIW Richards and her people claimed she was almost totally uninvolved.

A simple celebration thread for an NCAA lady's basketball team, and you have to bring this into it?
