I am visiting Texas next week to see if I want to move there. I can't decided on what cities to visit. I definitely want to move to the San Antonio area ie Boerne, New Braunfels, laVernia. I was wondering if anyone can give me any tips on where to move. One more question, R Bugs a huge problem? I read somewhere that huge roaches fly around in your house. Is ths true? Thank you soooo much!

My sister has lived in Boerne for 11 years and loves it. Close in to SA but still a bit of a small town feel. Growing, though....

I like Boerne, a pretty little town, but it is growing too fast for what I'm looking for. Of course, it's in Texas so the weather in the summer is unbearable.

A realtor told us when we looked at Bourne that there were 7500 housing starts on the books but not enough water to start the projects. Something to check into. Cute town though.
