I thought this would be an interesting topic to look at. There is no published list, but below is what I came up with. The bar for being on this list is that each group must be at least 10% and no one group can be above 50%. In my search I could only come up with 8 that met those requirements:

1) Fort Bend ISD
Black - 27.3%
Hispanic - 26.3%
Asian - 26.1%
White - 16.7%

2) Plano ISD
White - 34.8%
Hispanic - 24.5%
Asian - 24.0%
Black - 12.6%

3) Katy ISD
White - 35.7%
Hispanic - 34.8%
Asian - 15.2%
Black - 10.8%

4) Pearland ISD
White - 36.5%
Hispanic - 33.5%
Black - 15.0%
Asian - 11.1%

5) Lewisville ISD
White - 41.3%
Hispanic - 29.6%
Asian - 14.6%
Black - 10.7%

6) Frisco ISD
White - 44.4%
Asian - 26.7%
Hispanic - 13.6%
Black - 10.8%

7) Allen ISD
White - 49.1%
Asian - 19.5%
Hispanic - 13.4%
Black - 12.9%

8) Wylie ISD
White - 49.4%
Hispanic - 22.2%
Black - 14.3%
Asian - 10.0%

There are a few others that I give an honorable mention to. They didnt quite meet the requirements laid out, but they were close.

9) Hurst Euless Bedford ISD
White - 35.2%
Hispanic - 30.1%
African American - 19.2%
Asian - 9.9%

10) Alvin ISD
Hispanic - 40.5%
White - 27.4%
Black - 20.0%
Asian - 9.4%

11) Round Rock ISD
White - 39.5%
Hispanic - 30.4%
Asian - 16.8%
Black - 8.9%

12) Cypress Fairbanks ISD
Hispanic - 44.3%
White - 24.8%
Black - 18.2%
Asian - 9.3%

13) Pflugerville ISD
Hispanic - 48.6%
White - 23.0%
Black - 15.8%
Asian - 8.0%

14) Garland ISD
Hispanic - 50.8%
White - 18.7%
Black - 17.4%
Asian - 9.0%

15) Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD
Hispanic - 56.0%
African American - 16.4%
White - 12.9%
Asian - 11.5%

I think those 15 can make a case for the most diverse school districts in the state. However, I'm willing to be wrong about that since I complied this myself. Feel free to chime in which anything Ive missed or if you have an argument of why its wrong.

In addition to the above, there are a few other things that caught my attention in my search:

The most Asian school district in the state is Coppell ISD at 47.3%.
The only school district in the state with a student body more than 2% Pacific Islander is Hurst Euless Bedford at 2.5%.

Below are the demographics of the biggest school districts in Texas:

1) Houston ISD - 216,000 students
Hispanic - 61.7%
Black - 24.0%
White - 8.8%
Asian - 4.0%

2) Dallas ISD - 156,000 students
Hispanic - 70.1%
Black - 22.5%
White - 5.4%
Asian - 1.4%

3) Cypress Fairbanks - 114,000 students
Listed above

4) Northside ISD (San Antonio) - 106,000 students
Hispanic - 67.9%
White - 19.2%
Black - 6.4%
Asian - 3.3%

5) Fort Worth ISD - 87,000 students
Hispanic - 62.4%
Black - 22.7%
White - 11.3%
Asian - 1.8%

6) Austin ISD - 83,000 students
Hispanic - 56.7%
White - 28.5%
Black - 7.3%
Asian - 4.2%

7) Katy ISD - 81,000 students
Listed above

8) Fort Bend ISD - 74,000 students
Listed above

9) Aldine ISD - 69,000 students
Hispanic - 72.9%
Black - 22.7%
White - 2.2%
Asian - 1.1%

10) North East ISD (San Antonio) - 67,000 students
Hispanic - 59.4%
White - 25.7%
Black - 7.3%
Asian - 8.8%

There were a few school districts in smaller cities that were more diverse than I expected. As a bonus, they are below:

Amarillo ISD:
Hispanic - 45.6%
White - 34.6%
Black - 10.7%
Asian - 6.4%

College Station ISD:
White - 53.6%
Hispanic - 22.1%
Black - 13.1%
Asian - 8.0%

Feel free to comment or correct or just look!

I live near Pearland and I go there often. I can confirm that. I like Pearland for that reason.

It's stunning how HISD and DISD are now predominantly Hispanic by large percentages. I did not realize that. Are there majority black school districts? Or have the blacks dispersed into all the surrounding suburbs?

There are, and yes they are suburbs. Desoto ISD, just outside Dallas would be one example of a majority black district.

If youre talking about schools that are African American dominant, I dont think it would fit the bill:

Alief ISD
Hispanic: 53.1%
Black: 29.0%
Asian: 12.0%
White: 4.0%

Let me look to see what would be the more African American ISDs state wide.

For school districts with a majority black population, the ones I can find are below. Im listing only their black percentage:

Lancaster ISD: 76.4%
Desoto ISD: 76.1%
Cedar Hill ISD: 66.5%
Beaumont ISD: 59.8%
Crockett ISD: 50.0%

These are the only ones I could find. If you guys think of one Im missing, let me know! I couldnt find one ISD in the Houston area that had more than a 50% black population.

Those stats may be as inaccurate as the source you are getting them from. I know Alief ISD, as I have been residing in its area for almost 23 years, the versatility of its mentors, teachers, extra-curricular activities, and even employees. But yes, take a further look.
