As I said in a previous post, Laredo has a lot of potential because nearshoring.

Hopefully the aquifers to which the story refers have plenty of capacity and recharge.

Yep! There is a lot of development going on in Laredo and Webb County these days. Industrial, Commercial and Residential investment is up at least 200% the first four months year to year in each of these categories. Payroll numbers are up too! Also, the Federal Mexican Customs Headquarters (ANAM) will move to Nuevo Laredo from Mexico City this September. I believe, that will also boost the economies of both Laredos another notch.
