It is kind of amazing how similar the fair looks compared to what it did 20+ years ago. It has grown and added new areas, but the old areas look almost identical. We have watched the trees in the parking lot grow from little saplings to huge pines.
They did pretty much neuter the jousting some years back and the chariot racing is (I believe) completely gone. The track is no longer an oval, just a short straight stretch

Yeah! This is just like I remember it in the 80s & 90s growing up. At this festival there is
never a shortage of T & A hanging out!
Looks like I'll have to go and visit again next year.
Though I heard the "King's Swing" doesn't have the 2-3 guys pushing the hell out of it anymore. They just wind it up & let it swing now.
