Not something I experienced first hand, but knew some old welders who regularly dined on "Vyeenie Sawsudge Sammiches" with a chunk of cheese

I made your cornbread again to go with my Texas Ranger Nine Bean Soup....and it turned out perfect again!!! It's the best cornbread I've ever had!!! The soup was actually three-bean (pinto, black, small red), since I never bothered to make the mix given in the recipe, LOL!!
Glad it's been turning out well for you, Cathy!

Speaking of liver, I forgot to mention that sometimes I do eat liverwurst in a sandwich. Now that I can handle. Also, sometimes hubby and I will fry up chicken livers breaded, salt and peppered, in bacon drippings. I can get past the liver taste if it's prepared that way but we don't eat it often.

I used to make fried liver and onions because SO liked it so much, but I've never really enjoyed liver in any form or kind. Boiled chicken liver as part of giblet gravy is passable, though.

I haven't found anything ending in *wurst that I can eat more than one bite of yet, LOL!!

Grilled PB&J is good too! And grilled cheese on Texas Toast is the best!

Default Blt

Mine were BLT: BREAD, Lettuce and Tomato! Generous on the mayo and pepper of course. Close second was cuc: think slices of cucumber, layered a good half inch or more, again very generous on the mayo and pepper! All veggies fresh from our own garden. Had to grow if you wanted to eat 'em; now, what I wouldn't do for them.
