It is around 6000 years old. All the sea fossils on my property have © 4000bc written on the bottom of them.

Texas is about 173 years old, formerly Tejas, of Coahuila y Tejas. The land is nearly as old as the continent which is to some extent a result of plate tectonics and erosion.
