I graduated from UT early last year. You can look to see if you can qualify for any of the scholarships on the utoledo website. Other than that theres federal student loans avalible for those who qualify.

Now from what I understand engineering students dont have much contact with the general student population because the engineering building is far from everyone else and thats where almost all your classes will be.
