I know this subject has really been covered soooooo much in this forum
But I think this really demonstrates just how much work Toyota has turning their brand image around
Most of those wigged, botox, siliconed, face lifted people at the Oscars drive BMW's or Porches and anything less than that is subject to jokes. I didn't watch the Oscars cause I don't give a damn about the egomaniac Hollywood crowd.
I don't drive a Toyota and I think the company has been trying to cover up a serious problem for years.
And if joking around about a make of vehicle that has faults that has cost people their lives, IMO that is just another example of the lack of quality in todays entertainment industry that is grabbing at straws to get attention.
Actually, the Prius was the darling of the Hollywood set a couple of years ago, those who were making a public eco-statement.
