I could tell you (cute) stories about my visit to Ouagadougou, in particular.
Would you please relate a story about Ouagadoudou, which I had never heard of until I heard it mentioned in an episode of "Sledge Hammer!" (which was made when the country was still named Upper Volta)?
I just got back from Bolivia two days ago. I can name at least 10 countries that I've been to that were far more unfriendly than Bolivia. Bulgaria is another one that has been nothing but hospitable each time I've gone. FYROM didn't feel any more friendly than Bulgaria so I have no idea where they are getting their data from.
Agreed about Russia being unfriendly. Rude people.
What's your experience with that? I'm in Russia right now. People look unfriendly on a societal level, but that's just cultural. They seem just as nice as anyone else once engaged.
There is no way in He@@ friendlies versus unfriendliness can be measured. I can think of a couple of countries we have been to that are very friendly and not on the list a few that should be on the list. But it does make for interesting comparison. isn't it amazing, with 24/7 media and so much technology companies find studies like this really important. The next study we are likely to see is: why do spiders have 8 legs and insects only 6?
Mongolia really?! I remember this MTV show called Exile and they sent these spoiled teens to third world countries. They sent this black girl to Mongolia and they were so nice and hospitable to her. I'm very surprised to hear they are on the most unfriendliest list.
Yeah well that's because she was a girl and a teen...
Canada should be on the unfriendly list, I remember coming home from a trip from Amsterdam and was welcomed back with a rude taxi-employee who simply ignored us when we asked for a baggage wagon.
