Hard to say either way. My point is: Do you want to find out that the answer is "no" right there at the ticket counter in Kuala Lumpur or wherever?

Have you researched companies that train/provide English teachers? It's a bit more involved than a lot of people think it is. Do you have a degree?

Yes I have seen a couple of places where I could get a CELTA certification to qualify to teach English in Vietnam or in Thailand. I rather do the program in Southeast Asia and rather get the experience first. I also used to do a lot of volunteer work in the past teaching english to Adults and children.

Yeah I just recently graduate three months ago and I have a bachelor's degree already from my university already.

I'm want to do the program when my money runs out. I just want to go to Asia and just live like there is no tomorrow. When I mean by that is just go there and experience the culture myself.

Few things with your plan.

The Airline can re-calculate your One-Way ticket for your no show. When you buy the ticket you are buy from Point A to Point B with a connection in C. The fare from A to C might be more then A to B. When you are a no-show for your C-B flight the airline is allow to re-compute your fare using A-C on a walk up one way fare, (it will be alot more then what you are paying for the A-B flight). They can charge it to your credit or debit card. If there is no balance there, they will "Black List" you from all future reservations until you pay them.

When you are InTransit, they Immigration/Visa people may only give you a 24/48 visa.

Yeah I read Hong Kong is OK without a visa. You won't be able to go into the China mainland obviously.
I wouldn't worry about any hassles at immigration, particularly if you have a US passport which is almost as good as a gold card. I've been to dozens of countries and they don't do much more than glance up at you and then stamp the passport. It's actually more of a hassle getting back into the US.

Mainland China is has a huge demand from English teachers. I read an article before about white people being approached to teach English in lesser known cities. The pay they offered was apparently very very good. Problem is that the Chinese parents want white English speakers.
