I need to get to more cities in European and elsewhere.
I forgot to add Toronto and Vancouver to my list. Haven't been to Montreal yet but will someday.

Seville is awesome, right? While I think Barcelona is a must see for the architecture and such, we had a way better time in Seville!

If someone living in a foreign country were planning out a few trips to the US and could see, say, 10 cities in the contiguous United States (where the city is the primary attraction, vs. somewhere like Jackson Hole, WY), here's what I'd recommend, in descending order of importance:

DC
NYC
New Orleans
Vegas
Miami
Santa Fe
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Chicago
Philadelphia

I'll vote as a proxy:

An old friend had preferences for where he would like to go:

Barcelona, Spain
Wellington, Nw Zealand
Heaven

In that order. I have never been to any of those places.

Just got back from Cartagena, Colombia. Beautiful, amazing place. Definitely bucket list worthy

Well the only "must see" city is Necropolis.

For me some cities that come to mind are:

Burlington, VT
New York, NY
Boston, MA (mainly because of the food)
Providence, RI
Austin, TX
New Orleans
Anywhere in Switzerland
Siesta Key, FL

Every city a must avoid.

"Keep Manhattan. Just give me that country sky!"

Key West is kind of funky though. Vail is OK. Jackson Hole is neat. Tombstone is interesting. Steamboat isn't bad. Aspen is a bit interesting. Madrid was cool in the 60's.

I'd see Tokyo and Paris and Berlin and London. Maybe Boston because my name is hallowed in Boston - they tell me.

Small historical towns are cool.
