American Airlines (AMR) is announcing on Tuesday that it's joining rival Delta Air Lines (DAL) in making Wi-Fi Internet connections available to most domestic passengers.
I would love to have the ability to be connected during a long flight coast to coast. Whether I will use it or not is another question, but at $12.95 I think it's a bargain!!
I don't think the use of Skype to make calls should distract other people if done softly...it's not like people don't talk to each other on a flight, what is the difference? Am I missing something?? Of course, this is a useless option for me because unless I need to make an emergency call I have no interest in mindless chatter on the phone!
