I'm looking for a good steak joint for a dinner out with my hubby that isn't going to break the bank ($10-20 entree range)...any suggestions?

One thing this area is seriously lacking is a good steak house. I guess you could go to Outback? Cedars is decent but I don't know about the price, it might be over what you are wanting to spend. Maybe Applebees? There might be non-steak places that have a good steak too. I know the one I had at Fat Olive's was decent.

I'm hoping the rumored Texas Roadhouse ends up not being just a rumor. It would certainly fill a void.

Don't laugh, but at the low end of your price range when Old Country Buffet has steak, and they don't have it every night, it's far better than you have a right to expect. The old TJ Cattle Company *was* just what you are looking for, but they closed awhile back, didn't make any sense to me why they closed, seemed to be doing a good business. Cedars is good but a bit pricy. There is a "soul food" barbeque joint just south of the Uptown Mall, not steak but they do have beef brisket IIRC.
