The minimum wage out there is about $3.50 higher than it is here. All the good jobs started using temp agencies and it's hard to get a good job here in Tennessee because of this.

I'm looking for better opportunities for myself. Tennessee has been nothing but a let down in so many ways. It really is a backwards state. It's very beautiful here though with the scenery and such. Washington seems to have mountains, the ocean, and city, and everything!!! Well from what I can tell by looking at Google.

Oh well, hopefully if I work really hard at this I can be there in the next month and a half.

Thanks for all of the replies!!!

I hope you Washingtonian's welcome a southern girl.
Don't worry about that at all. I am a Washington State native, but I still use the term "Washington State" because it just clarifies what we are talking about it. There are many folks on this site who have no idea what Washington is outside of DC.

Yeah, just press "quote", and then that post will automatically show up on your new post. Give it a "return" to separate, and then post right there.
