Hi all,

I'm a 26 year old male physical therapy grad student from Kansas looking for temporary housing during my clinical internship at Kadlec Medical Center. I don't really need much; internet, a way to wash clothes, a short commute, and a place to at least set up a sleeping bag would all be pluses. As a struggling grad student, cost is somewhat of a major factor as well.

Does anyone know of any resources/housing available?

Also, part of the reason I set up this internship location is because I've never been to Washington, let alone the Tri-cities area. I'm looking forward to doing a little bit of exploring; what would you consider to be unique to the area, or stuff I shouldn't miss?

There are several apartment complexes near Kadlec, you shouldn't have a problem finding an apartment, assuming you can afford at least that. You could look around and see if someone will rent you a room in a private house if that's what you want to do. It might be best to look around Kadlec for a co-worker who would rent a room to you.

There are a lot of outdoor things to do, wineries, downtown Kennewick is not bad, plenty of free/cheap entertainment opportunities.
