Qwest, if I am not mistaken, is only available in the Pasco area. In Richland and Kennewick we have Verizon. We are on a Freedom package that includes high speed internet, Direct TV and phone service with Verizon. It's not the best deal in the world, but my mother, also in Kennewick, uses Charter cable for hers and has numerous outages. She's getting a deal (all 3 for 69.99 a month), but it is only good for one year.

I personally think Comcast has outstanding customer service. You might get a few A-holes, but as a majority they are great. It's doesn't matter anyways as Comcast is not in the Tri-Cities. What cable companies are there in the Richland-Kennewick besides Charter Cable for high speed internet? I want to use Charter as a last resort. Thank you.

Default Thanks

Hi all. And thanks for the, ummm, lively discussion of internet service providers. It appears that the only thing available here, other than dial-up, is HughesNet satellite. I was supposed to be contacted to arrange installation within 3 days....that was five days ago. Heavy sigh. But if this is the worst thing that happens, then life here in my new abode is good, very good!
