Do you think there should be criminal charges against individuals at BP who might have been responsible for unsafe drilling practices? What about Dick Cheney---would he be complicit in toning down the regulations that enabled the entire oil industry to make its own rules, and do whatever it wanted in regards to regulation?

I'm more concerned about the stock price of BP. It pays a nice dividend. Hope they can continue to pay it.

Yes OP, Cheney is culpable, but now I think people will blame Obama because it happened under his watch.
Go figure...

Yes, they should all be thrown in solitary, along with Obama, who accepted $80K in contributions during his bid for president and is now doing little if anything to get this mess under control. If Bush were still in office the media would be calling for his head and blaming him for this disaster. I'm no Bush apologist nor am I fan of his, I think he and Cheney are war criminals and he was the worst president since Carter, but the silence of the left is deafening right now in regard to the pop idle president we have in office now.

These topics would be better addressed in the P&OC forum. Thank you.
