People should bear the cost of their own incarceration, I have frequently felt that this would be a deterant to crime. Of course, the felons would probably give their money to someone else, to get away from having to pay for their incarceration, but maybe that person would just take the money, good for them.
I have felt like prison is way to easy, and that privledges should be paid for. This could fund our prison system. I would have no probllem with "luxury" prisons, with inmates that paid for that "luxury", it would subsidize the rest of the losers wthout money, in the regular prisons.
