Was it really worth spending the rest of your life behind bars?

Don't be sorry. I think those are very good questions, the answers could be very revealing.

This brings up the age old question, "nature or nurture"? I believe it can be both, as bad genes, both physical and mental, can, and are, passed on through the generations. And the parenting/raising of alot of children leaves a lot to be desired. The only way that I can see to "control" future "monsters" will never be accepted in the civilized world. I'm sure many of us on this forum can almost predict children who are either at risk of becoming a criminal, or are already there if the circumstances were right, just from hanging out at a school or any place groups of children congregate. Sad for them.

A Norman Bates...for one reason or the other seems predators have mother issues.

I think it's a disgrace for me because I wouldn't enjoy speaking for hours with the dark side of humanity. I also have limited tolerance with liars and egocentric people lie excessively. I think I would feel very frustrated if I didn't learn anything helpful(things I wouldn't be able to get from the police)

Well I am a blood transfusion specialist who saves lives with blood. So with respect to that I am thankful that people donate blood since blood saves lives. I detest violence that is why I said like minds...which there a plenty of them on this planet and in the prison he is in.

I have zero desire for violence. You apparently misread. However some violence is justified...for example if Richard Ramirez had found me in a park close to my car and had begun to savagely attack me as he did his victim's and by some miracle I was able to get back to my car and have the opportunity to run over him I would not even hesitate to do so and I would certainly feel justified in doing it.
Why do you think running over him is justified? Is it because your life is in danger? Is it because you don't want him to get away and you want him to get caught before he hurts other people?

Or is it because you are so angry that you would actually enjoy the blood scene and you will run your car over and over until there was no trace of human life? Do you think because he is an evil person it would justify that kind of desire?

If your answer is self defense then it wouldn't support your first statement "So he could experience the fear pain and suffering of what he had done to others before he dies". That doesn't sound like self defense but more like blood thirsty anger.

Girl you sound like you are the angry one who fails to get anything I say. Cool down and we can discuss it. I am not about to play your angry game of eeny, meeny, miny, moe

Secondly if I have to explain to you why I would feel justified running over a serial killer that I barely escaped from then I don't think there is anything more to add. You simply just don't get it.

I am not angry, I just asked why you thought violence is sometimes justifible. That's all, I don't have any ulterior motives. I am not upset at your words, I just disagree that retributive violence is justifible. I got confused when you listed what it looked like a self defense scenario when originally you were talking about punishment.
