That's Phoenix, too. Very spotty. I am willing to buy a condo.....must be rentable, 500 sf minimum, price 40K max.. Location is way more important than the inside condition. Would take a small fixer house, same price, with maybe a little lower expectation on the hood. Save your breath on the you can't get a condo for under 50K.....did it in Summerlin and Phoenix (35K and 22K), both, perfectly acceptable. [mod cut- off topic] If It is a place where I can live carless, that is worth a premium.

A lot harder to do now in that price range than it was 12 months ago. I would look a couple of times a day at TARMLS.com the Tucson MLS service. Things can move really fast. There is still some stuff around 40k in apartment style condos. Last year there was stuff for less than 20k.

About like Phoenix...my TH I paid 22K for in 2009 is back up to 42K, but others paid 152K. Thanks!
