i'm buying a pulte home. RA seems to be ranked #2 in tucson area. RA builds good homes from what i know. be sure to hire a private home inspector if you buy new construction.

We're getting a Richmond home in a different area. We have our pre-drywall meeting this week, actually. We've been pretty happy throughout the whole process. Just do your homework - a lot of the upgrades offered in the design center are overpriced, while others are actually a good deal. Everyone we've worked with has been extremely helpful, and not pushy at all.

did you hire a private home inspector? we did, and my inspector has caught numerous issues. although these issues are minor to fix they could have been real issues if construction would have continued on without the issues being fixed. if i did not have my inspector Pulte would have just continued with the build. my inspector typically does his inspections after the town does theirs, so i'm not really sure how these issues were overseen by the town inspector...?

my advice to anyone with a new build.... ALWAYS HIRE A PRIVATE HOME INSPECTOR.
