I doubt you'll have any trouble making friends as long as you are an outgoing person and you get yourself into places where friends can be made. Tucson is a friendly city. Depending on your hobbies, just make sure to join the local clubs which do the same things. If you don't have any hobbies, try out some new things and get out and be social at every opportunity.

As for the girlfriend - well - it's been so long since I've been single that I can't begin to tell you what the lady's are looking for these days!

Good luck!

Hello, wherever you decide to live, try searching online for various clubs and social groups. I personally like Meetup.com and find others that share your interests, or discover new interests and hobbies.

Good luck!

This guy is basically running a classified ad looking for an American to marry him so he can get a visa. Is he posting in all the forums, or just Tucson?

Hello Armenian, my advice would be to also educate yourself in advance as it pertains to social activities and or sports. I believe that will help you to sort out activities in advance allowing you for better choices.

As far as being alone, I wouldn't worry about that. There are over a half million people there. You won't be alone for long.

Bien venidos amigo!

A good way to meet people is by doing volunteer work. Also, you can look for a walking or hiking group of people, good way to meet people.

I would rather be in Tucson than Russia any day! You will probably be fine here.
