My girlfriend just moved to Tucson and has been there about 4 days. What are some fun things her and her boyfriend could do to get to see and know the area a little? Fun clubs, best places to eat, any must see attractions? Her boyfriend is in the military and just got stationed there. I think she is a little home sick being her 1st time away and she needs to go out and have some fun. So if you have any sugestions please share them so I can pass them on to her, Thanks!

For starters, you should know where she is so you can google it, even though Wiki would be nice enough to correct you - tuscan - Google Search. Google isn't as nice since there is Tuscany in this world.

Don't worry, Irreplaceable . . . I've lived here for years and still have trouble spelling it some days.

As for your original question . . . a few of my favorites in the area are . . .

Mt Lemmon
Old Tucson and
Tombstone (an hour plus away but interesting and lots of fun).

I hope this helps a little.

As far as some night life she should hit up 4th avenue. There are some really fun bars down there...Maloneys being one of them. I dont know how old your daughter is but its definatley a fun young crowd down there.

Main Gate Square has lots of bars and restaurants too... it's pretty much a college crowd (well, until next month - that's when I'll go back) but there's chances for live music, etc.

Pick up a copy of the Tucson Weekly - it's a free alternative paper. They have a very extensive calendar of all types of goings on and a really good list of restaurants with reviews.
