Hi All,

I just moved to the Oro Valley area. I'm looking for a good place to get my hair done. Probably highlights and a cut. I'm hesitant to go to those family hair cut places (cost cutters)...I guess I'm looking for a more high end salon? Any suggestions??

Thanks!
Lisa

Hi Lisa,

I've heard good things about Gadabout Salon & Spas, there is one on Oracle/Magee.

There is also a place called Essence Salon Spa on Lambert/La Canada but don't know much about that place.

You may wanna try Red Door Spas: Spa Detail

Try Andrew if you'd like. I've only had haircuts with him, so I don't know how good he is at highlights. I was happy with the haircuts, but had a personality clash with him... It may very well be OK for you.

My BARBER gives great FLATTOPS, New2Oro!

All joking aside, a female buddy is very happy with the Gadabouts previously mentioned.

Good Luck

I went to Gadabout regularly and loved it. I tried several other places before finding them and did not like the cuts.

To try Gadabouts cheaply, call the Speedway store in advance and ask about their Wednesday night training class.
It is $20 and a new employee will cut your hair under the tutiege of a senior level employee.
