This video is to tell you about some of the reasons I moved to Green Valley 8.5 years ago, and NEVER regretted the decision! I took a walk this morning, and made most of the video on the walk. I did insert a couple of short wildlife clips because that is what I do! I think you will like them. If you live in Green Valley and would like to add to my reasons for loving this place, please do so!!! Green Valley is NOT a city or even a town, it is a CDP according to CityData.com. What is a CDP? It is a Census Designated Place.
Over the years, Sahuarita has annexed several parts of Green Valley. Some people may be ok with that, but for me, if I wanted to live in Sahuarita, I would have bought a house there. I certainly hope that Sahuarita will not get it's hands on my neighborhood while I am still alive. Green Valley is a retirement community. The average age is 73.9. I have a neighbor that will be 97 on New Year's Eve. Green Valley certainly has a special charm. From roughly October to April, the size of the town doubles due to "Snowbirds" escaping winters where they normally live. I see license plates from states across the country. Generally speaking, I love the Snowbirds. In fact, so of them have become very good friends, and we look forward to them being here. I really hope you enjoy the video on this Christmas weekend!!!
