I've always had probelm w/mosquito in summer. Please suggest how to deal when I am indoor (my apartment) and outdoor. Thanks!

You have a few months to go before you'll be seeing those little buggers, Kevin. They rarely appear before July and that usually depends on the monsoons.

My suggestion . . . one of those electronic zappers for both indoors and outdoors.

Good Luck

When I was in Tucson, in late July, there was NO mosquitoes - did I just miss them?

They're such a horrible, disgusting plague in NC. You can't even water your plants or walk to your car without getting chewed up, even with bug spray on (not that that stops them). They bite you between your toes and on the back of your knees, your scalp, your ears, your neck - everywhere. I used to go outside with my mum and we'd stand 'watch' over the other person while they did yard work because you just can't keep them off you.

.... I hate NC so much.

On a flip-side, Avon makes a SkinSoSoft bug spray that's supposed to smell nice and not be all full of chemicals.

I've never had a mosquito problem in various (OK, East) locations. It's a rarity to see a mosquito. I've no idea what some are talking about as far as critters go...

There are a few of the super small mosquitos but only during the monsoon season (July and August), Woof Woof.

Absolutely nothing compared to the East Coast and the upper Midwest where the mosquitos are about the size of small cats.

You're always bound to see some kind of bug almost anywhere, if you live there long enough - even a mosquito! Consider using OFF bug spray. They have the outdoors one (Deep Woods), which seems to be pretty good.

Bummer's suggestion of a bug zapper is EXCELLENT as well! You'll enjoy hearing them DIE when they smack their pesky little selves into that most wonderful zapper! Yeah! ZAP 'em and KILL 'em! Zap! DIE!

DIE, Mosquito, DIE!

ZAP! ZAP! ZAP! DIE! DIE! DIE! ZAP! ZAP! ZAP! DIE! DIE! DIE! ZAPPITY ZAP! DIE! DIE! DIE! ZAP! ZAP! ZAP! DIE! DIE! DIE! ZAP! DIE! ZAP! DIE!

ZAPPITY-ZAP! DIE! ZAPPITY ZAP ZAP! DIE! DIE! DIE!
ZAP! ZAP! ZAP! DIE! DIE! DIE! ZAP! ZAP! ZAP! DIE! DIE! DIE! YEAH!

Its a wonderful experience.

Well, in that case, I guess the O.P. can lather himself up in DEET.

Frankly, I'd rather suffer through a few bug bites.

If only it were 'a few', Woof.

Come hang out in the summer here. I double-doggy dare you (no pun intended).
