Hello all,

My cousin is going to U of A's freshman orientation next week. He'll be driving down from Phoenix. Looking at the transportation website, it's not quite clear how best to get to U of A with the construction. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Thank you!

Not a biggee, Golden.

Best bet would be to exit at Orange Grove and head East (turn left and go under the freeway) then an immediate right on River Road all the way down to Campbell Avenue and then head South down to the U of A.

Plan B would be to exit at the final available exit and then take the access road all the way down to Speedway and then head East to the U of A. However, I have a feeling the traffic may be rather tough using that route.

I hope this helps.

Bummer's Orange Grove, south on Thornydale (turns into River a couple blocks south), to Campbell suggestion is probably best.
