I suggest contacting the birth center. Tucson Birth Center

They can help you or recommend someone to you.

The La Leche League seems to have a Tucson office. Surely they will know of someone to help:

Both suggestion for Birth Center and La Leche are good.

You need to find a new OB. Deals with females all the time and doesn't know anything about breast issues and breastfeeding AND doesn't refer to to someone who does. Bad doctor.

Up your intake of clean water, remove all processed sugar and most yeast-based breads just to start. Stay away from soda and anything with aspertame. Use 2 cups of white vinegar in your bathwater to help pull certain toxins from the skin.

Check these following sites and find yourself a decent OBGYN or try for starters the Le Leche like was suggested. Treating Thrush and Yeast Infections

Always be proactive and assertive with doctors. Many don't care, too many are incompetent but there are a few who really are in the biz of helping people to address concerns and teaching them to be proactive in their health.

I'm trying to find a new OB, and just want to make sure I get someone who can actually help me with this--rather than just picking any name out of the book.

I've talked to LLL and am trying to get help there, as well, but they can't rec any doctors. Almost everyone suggests going to Lactation Consultants. I'd take suggestions of REALLY good ones of those, as well, but I think a dr would be best. I've seen LC and the ones I've seen (at St. Joseph's) couldn't help me either. Basically, everyone says they can't figure out what's wrong, so I need someone REALLY good.

Thanks
