What types of jobs are common - easier to find - in the Tucson area? For example, industrial/manufacturing as opposed to business-office type jobs?
If we move there my husband will need to find an office job in the accounting/billing/customer service field. Any info. is appreciated. It appears the actual metro city of Tucson is rather small so we are also wondering what types of businesses are around the area - esp. Oro Valley or other areas around Tucson. Thanks

Hello -- Good luck with your move to Tucson. There are many job opportunities in Tucson; however, the pay levels are rather low. This website may help you learn more about finding work: www.workforce.az.gov If possible I would try to line up employment before deciding where you will live. Tucson, like Phoenix, is a spread-out city, and it is very helpful to have a shorter commute to your job. A major road construction project on I-10 is scheduled to begin in June and will last three years; the freeway will be restricted, causing more traffic congestion. So working close to home is a definite advantage! Good luck!
