Saw this artical in the Tulsa World about a new shopping center going in next to the Tulsa Hills shopping center. The spokesman for the new center mention that they are courting an organic grocery store. He mentioned they are part of an chain that has stores in the region. He said they don't have stores in Oklahoma yet. He said it would be a large, upscale organic grocery. Central Market is part of the HEB chain. It would be great if Tulsa could land a Central Market. The only thing that I can see holding it back would be out Bible Belt liquor laws. You know where we can only sell Faux wine and near beer in our grocery stores.

But the article does seem to hint that it could be a HEB Central Market.

Hmmm could very well be...interested to see what goes in! If it is a Central Market, you bet I'll be driving 2 hrs up the turnpike to check it out;-)

Might be a Sprouts; that chain is growing like a weed here in N. TX. It's based in Phoenix and has locations in Colorado, California, Arizona and Texas. I think Tulsa might be a little beyond what HEB distribution networks are able to handle, distance-wise, but that would be a great coup for the area.
