I searched and did not find a similar thread.

That '70s Show: I loved this show but after season 6 it became mediocre and season 8 was a total mess that shouldn't have happened!

Degrassi: I don't watch this show anymore. I watched it back in jr high and stopped watching after season 8. They got rid of the entire original cast and brought in these 14 year old actors and started all over again. I hated that because the older characters were going through college like I was and I could relate and then they turn it back into a Disney Channel esque show. it's going on it's 10th season which I find really stupid!

7th Heaven: I really didn't like this show because it was so cheesy and corny. All the kids slept around etc. It just drug on way too long. 12 seasons is rediculous! It was not a feel good family show. It was just an annoying soap opera.

According to Jim
Yes Dear

Hard to believe this kind of stuff stays on for years while Arrested development got canceled.

Despise American Idol.... had to watch it for a while where I didn't get a vote in the tv stakes, but it was sooooo boring.

My number one canditate is Kid Nation. It should have been cancelled BEFORE its first show. Actually it should have been cancelled before it was shot (though New Mexico now owes it for stringent child labor and welfare laws).

Bad taste and bad parents meet child abuse...

I think HAPPY DAYS. Great show in the beginning, but the last ones were just pathetic.

^^Hence the expression "Jumped the Shark" for when shows have had their effective run.

I don't see much on TV that doesn't need to be cancelled, unless the only people watching TV anymore are children. Exceptions: House, Bones, many documentaries (particularly by independent producers).

Apparently scripted shows are too expensive to bother with and cut into profits. So we get "reality" dribble that the average YouTuber could beat. As a Sci-Fi fan (or fan of anything that will make me think of things I haven't explored before), I loved Buffy, Angel, Kyle XY, and Heroes. Now what is there to offer on TV for Sci-Fi/Fantasy? Nothing I've noticed.

At least it will be easy to go off the grid, with the lack of quality offered to people on it.

This is just my opinion, I am sorry if anybody disagrees.

Real housewives of any place
Big Brother
Pushing Daisies
Ugly Betty
All hospital-themed shows

I don't watch many tv shows, I was just a huge Lost fan, so probably there is a whole lot I would like to see canceled if I had watched them.
