We already heard the first casualty of the fall season was Lonestar. Which will be next?

Running Wilde. Horrible show.

Raising Hope, possibly.

Fox just doesn't have "it".

Although the 1st 2 episodes of Raising Hope were very funny- I imagine that storyline will wear thin very quickly. Yes, running Wilde is horrible.

Did I hear Mike and Molly was cancelled? Didn't watch it.

The Event doesn't seem to be going over nor does L&O LA

I wonder if that Boardwalk Empire or Empire Boardwalk that is getting huge hype on HBO will be their first big failure.

I don't think it can be because they already ordered a second season of Boardwalk. From everything I've heard it sounds like a good show.

I watched ten minutes of Boardwalk and was bored!

I think My Generation will get the axe. They are making it too crazy when it could be an easy storyline.

The Event I wonder about. After LOST it is hard to trust a show like this.

I think HBO's first big failure was John from Cincinnati. What a bore.

"No ordinary family" on abc.
While i like this show so far, I am thinking it might not run it's course and be cancelled before it's over. You can only go so far with a Heroe's type spinoff.

HBO series survival is not dependent on audience numbers because it has no advertising. It's dependent on awards from Hollywood. If HBO can tout their "award winning series" they can get more HBO subscriptions. So, HBO series just have to please Hollywood who votes on the awards, not on general audience numbers which please advertisers. If Boardwalk Empire racks up Hollywood awards, that's what counts.
