If you are one, you don't advertise it. All fake and for show.

For lack of anything else to watch one day, I watched an episode. I really like the show! Karen and Renee are my favs. It helps that I have always been facinated by the Mob. I don't condone anything they do, but I am just facinated of the lives these people have had that led them to living the way they do as adults.

I caught a marathon of the shows about a month ago. I've been watching it regularly since then. I feel bad for Karen, she didn't choose the lifestyle, the wives did. I, for one, will be looking for the book.

I admit that I've watched it when I catch it on, but there are some parts I have to skip. These women don't have jobs and their husbands are in jail? How do they have such nice homes and cars and clothes? Interesting.

Karen is just as bad. Look at the men she associates with. She just isn't married to a mobster but she seems to hookup with criminals. Also she was busted for running a large ecstacy drug ring back in Arizona. It was a family affair so I wouldn't call Karen of all people innocent.

I didn't say Karen was innocent. And I didn't know about the Arizona thing. I think she's re-thinking the things she's done in her life and wants to live differently now. JMO. We'll see.

I've been wondering that myself. I think they do have jobs though. I think Carla has the Wall Street background. I wanna say Drita does like massage therapy or something spa related. Sunday we saw that Renee was a stylist and is trying to get back into the game. I'm sure Karen got an advance for her book. However, I don't think any of those jobs except maybe stylist pays enough to afford those nice houses and luxury cars. So I'm not sure how they afford their lifestyles either. Also Karen seems to be the only one who doesn't drive an expensive car and live in a nice house.

The only one I know who has actually done some legit work is Renee; she worked with celebrities and stuff.

I haven't,nor will be, watching this but stopped in to say - if they aren't Russian or some other nationality they are probably barely considered organized crime. So really these women aren't mob wives. Just the wives of some criminals. Actually I'm surprised there isn't a reality show that follows women to prison and films conjugal visits. Maybe that's next on on way down the tv toilet.
