Some only lasted a season or two but would be a welcome diversion.
Shows I don't have to see again for 20 years based on how much they've been played over and over: Bonanza. Gunsmoke. Roseanne. George Lopez( how this even made it to reruns is a mystery) Andy Griffith( only funny the first 5 or 6 times you see the same episodes). Good Times. All In the family( a classic but done to death). The Munsters. Family Matters

N@N sticks to the shows that deliver good ratings which is why George Lopez has been on the network for 4 years. Same thing with that other stupid show called the Nanny

Coach Hayden Fox is getting back in the game. NBC has given a straight-to-series order for a sequel to the 1990s sitcom Coach.

Starring Craig T. Nelson, Coach ran for nine seasons and 197 episodes on ABC, airing from 1989 until 1997. Shelley Fabares, Jerry Van Dyke, Bill Fagerbakke, and Clare Carey co-starred.

The new version of Coach will star Nelson and pick up 18 years after the end of the original series, in present day. Hayden Fox has retired from coaching but returns to the field as an assistant coach. He’ll help his grown son (Tim in the original series), the new head coach of an Ivy League school in Pennsylvania. It’s unclear if any of the other former castmembers will be part of the new show or when the show will air.
