The whole thing with Holder makes no sense. If he was set on framing Richmond then they would have found all this evidence and arrested him days ago.

a realistic crime drama would not have solved the mystery at all. There would have been dead end after dead end - and it would have taken a lot longer than 13 days

Blako. The father's friend who was fired by the mom.

I'm not disappointed in the ending.

The writers need to tighten up ship next season though. Its like they wanted to go slow and steady then noticed that have just 13 episodes compared to 20 in the Dutch version then decided to pick up the pace by throwing anything out there to wrap it up in time.

The setup by the cop was awesome. Wasn't expecting that at all.

That wasnt awesome, it doesnt make any sense at all. There was nothing up until the time he showed that picture that he was trying to setup Richmond. It also destroys an entire season of character development for Holder. It was a cheap ploy and really destroyed a lot of credibility for this show.

yeah the ending was crap and now I dont know if I will watch or not next season .Im not really surprised that the mom took off and he let her . The aunt was being more of a mother to those boys than mitch was . Belko was in love with Rosie or so I think .I dont think richmond was shot by belko though I think someone caught him in time .Somehow I dont think the lady cop is going to go through with that flight LOL !!! Yes it was a cheap ploy and now kind of ruined for me .

No it wouldn't.
All it would've revealed is the distance the car has travelled. The only fixed points they knew when they've found the car is the campaign HQ (or where ever it was the campaign cars were stored) and the park (where the body was found).
They needed to know where the victim was picked up (the casino) in order to figger out the exact route.

Yes well that's your opinion.
Holder has always been portrayed as an ambiguous character who's willin' to bend the rules to get what he wants.
Which incidentally also is a quality that makes a great undercover cop.

I'm sure they would have.
That if the series wasn't successful it then would not have been renewed and Richmond would've been revealed as the killer.
But since it will be they've only added the scene where it is revealed that Holder has 'faked' the photo with Richmond driving the campaign car over the toll bridge.
Right now I wouldn't be surprised if Holder is in an undercover sting operation to expose the connection between the current mayor (remember the skull at the building site?) and the Danish mafia (or whoever it was Stan Larsen used to work for).

I guess finding Rosie's killer is just the 1st ripple in the pond?

I agree.

On another note; No way would Bennetts wife not know the guy that got arrested for putting her husband in a coma (Rosies dad). No way. That came off very sloppy.

I thought the finale was lame. They are really going to drag this out another 13 hours!! Wow.

Well, at least they didn't end it with Rosie waking up in her own room saying , "Gee, I just had the most terrible dream......"

While I have found the writing uneven throughout the season, I actually liked the ending a lot. I see a lot of criticism of the ineptitude of the detectives, but I think that is actually one of the most realistic aspects of the show. Holder is brand new to homicide, for one thing, and both of their personal lives are a mess which is bound to take a toll; they aren't the hotshot detectives from every other formula cop show, and that's ok with me. I also don't think we can definitively say that Holder is shady based on that one scene...especially if you've been watching the rest of the season. I guess I watch the show more for the damaged detectives than the murder but can understand that the marketing may have led some to believe they would get a pat ending. Oh well...can't please everybody all of the time

Wasn't the wife on bedrest so its no surprise that she doesn't know who the suspect is at all.

I wonder, if this was the final episode all along. If so, it would suck especially since they didn't tie up the loose ends. Someone needs to watch 24 to learn how to and then extend a story line.

If anything, If Holder is dirty, I guess, we will find out who got him transferred from (Vice?) to detective.
