toosie - Yes, I finally got to see a little of his personality! I mentioned back a few pages that I couldn't get a handle on him because he seemed so internal, not very outgoing. He seemed like a really nice guy.

He may be one of the many who use food for comfort and I can only imagine he had alot of stress prior to his surgery and even prior to that his coming out. It is tough for most kids to be celebrity children and no doubt painful to be the daughter of Cher who was in her day very beautiful and feminine. I am sure he/she was conflicted a long time about what to do. I am just happy he has found peace and someone to love & accept him for his choices. And yet..his dancing still sucks

I was going to say exactly that, dyni....steroids. I don't know about hormone treatment though. I declined to go on them when "the change" came but I know lots about steroids and how they can pack the pounds on even if you try not to let them!
I weighed 123lbs. and am 5'6" in October of '01, had my worst MS attack and was on prednisone for 6 months....put 85 lbs. on me almost over night. Sometimes my skin actually hurt in the morning because it had literally needed to stretch over night to make room for more fat that the prednisone was making. I doubt Chaz's body weight is all of his own doing, maybe some but not all.
