Zombies aren't my thing. I watched a few of that one but didn't really interest me. But I love the dark tones in Grimm (or grim(m) ones?) Maybe it helps that most of my dreams would be called nightmares by most people, but I didn't really think it was scary, just interesting.
That's the best way to describe it for me too. It wasn't scary, but it was interesting, in a kicky, fun way.
I watched it last night. It does not compare to Night Stalker, if any remember it. At least NS researched myths of various cultures and tried to make the shows conform to that 'reality'.
Grimm, at least the one episode that I watched, seems rather childish, in my opinion. Very predictable, formulaic. The plot seemed old and stale with a twist that the teddy bears had a ritual and the mom, who wanted to keep with tradition died.
Is there a moral to this? That to life is constant change and those who don't get with the program die? Is this true?
It's something different and I think because it's on regular TV you are not going to see alot of blood and guts. Besides, for me, there is nothing else to watch on Friday nights.
I'm going to miss "Ant" Marie. I liked her. I still liked the show this week. I really enjoyed the comic relief of the werewolf guy. LOL at his "oops!!".
How come Grimm can't see that his boss or the parents of the bear kid were demons? Does Aunt Marie's passing give him more of that ability? Or is it that these creatures have more control over their appearances and Grimm can only see when they let their guard down?
I'm still willing to see how this show goes for a while longer.
