Visually-speaking, it felt like a mixture of "Big Fish" and "Amelie" some of the music is straight from "Amelie"). It's quirky, but it may be a little too twee for a lot of people. I'm afraid it may be too unusual to survive, so I'm going to watch every episode I can.

We thought it was great! The writers must have had a ball getting it up.

I have doubts if they can keep it up, but the sight gags are well done. If you aren't paying attention, you could miss it. The dog is a wonderful little touch.

I was wondering how long it'd be before they'd let Kristin Chenoweth sing. I feel that she's kinda wasting her talents in this show, though. I hope they don't keep her as a one note character. She may not be a leading lady type, but she's much more interesting than what she's been given to work with so far.

My husband watched the show with me last night for the first time. I'm not sure if he likes it or not, but I think he's willing to give it another try. Basically, it's a colorful, quirky, murder mystery show, so maybe that'll keep it from being too cute for him.

(And thanks to the Mystery Person who gave me my 200th rep point! How sweet of you! )

Oh, yeah. Best new show of the season by far. Chi McBride is soooooooo funny in this show. Best line so far, said with a completely straight face, "It does have a grassy flavor."

What a strange and fun show this is! Very refreshing. I loved that the two could kiss last week through the plastic body bags.

I really like weird and quirky shows and this is one of the best weird ones to come along in awhile. Definitely a keeper. I hope they keep it. Then i'm going to have to buy the DVD of the season when it's over.
